The competence, qualifications and innovative power of ips-werkzeugtechnik are based on a continuously improved technological know-how and many years of professional experience from different industrial sectors.

The company was run under the name "Emmert GmbH" and was founded in 1963. Soon afterwards, the sales of the punching tools were taken over by DE-STA-CO Metallerzeugnisse GmbH. In 1997, the Emmert GmbH was sold and the business was taken over and continued as DE-STA-CO Werkzeugtechnik GmbH & Co.

In 1999, we moved to the new premises in Schliengen.

Since October 2006 the company has been run there under the name ips-werkzeugtechnik gmbh.
